Announcement!
Attention! Attention! Time for the morning announcement, broadcasting
live and straight to you from our very own GBC, GATE Broadcasting
Company!
Every morning at GATE, one of our own students gives a morning
announcement. This fun activity gives each GATE student the
opportunity to be a reporter for the day. The whole school listens
attentively as the announcer tells us the date, the weather
forecast, and some current events. Sometimes the announcer chooses
to tell us a little about themselves and their family. Sometimes
he or she chooses to tell us a joke or a short story. Other
times the school listens as the announcer tells us something
special learned that week. Whatever the reporter chooses to
share, everyone is excited to hear it and gives a big round
of applause as he or she walks back to their class! Being the
official GBC announcer is sure to leave pride in the heart and
a smile on the face!
